Mayor declares Rhinelander snow emergency

Rhinelander Mayor Chris Frederickson has ordered all streets to be cleared of vehicles from 5 p.m. Dec. 10 through 5 p.m. Dec. 11. Frederickson issued the snow emergency due to the heavy snowfall expected.
During the snow emergency, and per city ordinance 4.02.13(1), the Police Department is authorized to restrict or remove traffic from any street or alley within the city.
