Wakefield found competent, Rhinelander murder case against him moves forward

By Katie Thorsen, WXPR
The case against Seth Wakefield is moving forward.
Wakefield, 25 of Rhinelander, is one of the men charged in the death of Hannah Miller of Rhinelander. He’s charged with first degree intentional homicide as party to a crime.
Police believe Wakefield helped Christopher Anderson plan her murder.
Two doctors evaluated Wakefield’s mental ability to understand the court proceedings against him. One was hired by the District Attorney, the other by the Public Defender’s Office.
Both found him competent.
Wakefield will be back in Oneida County Court later this month.
Anderson will be back in court next week.
