The Hodag girls swim team hosted their last conference meet of the season with Mosinee coming to town. Rhinelander continued their dominance by defeating Mosinee 137-30.

The girls placed first or second in every event and third in all but three events.

The team celebrated their parents at the break as well as welcoming the pool record holder in the 500 yard freestyle event, Karen Burton. Burton holds the oldest pool record on the board. Abi Winnicki was attempting to break the record and Burton held the lap cards for her in the attempt. Winnicki’s attempt was 13 seconds over the record as it still stands.

Next for the Hodags is the Conference meet Oct. 22, to be held at the home pool.
