Obituary: Trevor Fletcher
Trevor Joseph Fletcher, Age 18 of Rhinelander, passed away July 7, 2021, in Portland, Oregon.
He was born January 30, 2003, in Aurora, Ill. to Jill McDonald and Jeremy Fletcher.
Trevor attended school in Rhinelander and was always proud to be a Hodag. He volunteered with his mom within the community and enjoyed the selfless importance of giving back. He enjoyed the peacefulness of fishing from the time he was big enough to hold a fishing pole. Trevor was out on the water in any season or weather; from Boom Lake with his mom to the Pacific Ocean with his dad. He was truly at peace with a fishing pole in his hand as he had a strong connection with nature and animals. He also had a passion for cars, car shows and traveling across the country with his dad and his family. Trevor was quite the prankster and loved to make people laugh. If he noticed someone that needed an uplift, he would be the first to get a smile out of them.
“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us and the world will be as one.”
Trevor is survived by his parents, Jill (Justin) and Jeremy (Makayla); his sisters, Meagan, Makayla, Calie; and his brothers, Bobby and JJ, maternal grandparents Charles and JoAnn; paternal grandfather, Michael; and many loving cousins, a niece, and many friends. His paternal grandmother Phyllis preceded him in death.
There will be a Celebration of Life August 21 from 10 – 4 at the VFW located at 120 E Park St, Rhinelander WI 54501.
