Mildred (Mitzi) Carol Kamrath, age 82, passed away peacefully at her adult family home Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Lake Tomahawk.

She was born Jan. 21, 1939, in Tomah to William and Caroline (Raabe) Kamrath. Mildred was raised in Tomah and baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tomah. She lived the majority of her adult life in the Milwaukee area. Mildred was employed for over 20 years as a Health Unit Coordinator. After retirement, she moved to Rhinelander to be near family. As of 2013, Mildred lived at the Blotnicki Adult Family Home in Lake Tomahawk where she was welcomed into the family with open arms. Their love and support for Mildred will always be appreciated.

Mitzi loved the Green Bay Packers and watched as many of their games as possible. She enjoyed going out for dinner, shopping, watching TV and most of all, reading books. She also was very grateful to Pastor Gass for his visits and their meaningful conversations.

Mildred is survived by her sister, Jeanette (Kamrath Moore) Cummings; her niece, Sandra (Moore) Jackson; Sandy’s husband, Blair, and their son, Seth Jackson; nephew, David Moore and David’s wife, Sharon (Neubauer) Moore; their sons, Ethan Moore, Kevin (Katie) Moore, and Aaron (Vanessa) Moore; and their children, Oliver and Kiri Moore.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, William and Caroline Kamrath and her sister, Marian Kamrath.

A visitation and memorial service for Mitzi was held on Wednesday, July 14, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home. Pastor Mark Gass officiated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hildebrand Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, 24 E. Davenport Street, Rhinelander, Wisconsin 54501. 715-365-4343. Everyone is invited to sign the guestbook or leave an online condolence at www.hildebrandrussfh.com
