Obituary: Elmer Gauthier
Elmer Joseph Gauthier, age 90 of Rhinelander, died Friday, July 9, 2021. He was born Aug. 7, 1930, in Rhinelander to Patrick and Frances (Bergeon) Gauthier.
Elmer served in the Army in Japan.
He is survived by his wife Lexine; his daughters, Denise and Karen Gauthier; sons, Phillip and Bruce Gauthier; five grandchildren; a great-grandson; nieces, nephews and his dog, Ruby. He was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret, Agnes and Evelyn; and his brothers, Ruben, Harold and Lloyd. Private family services will be held for Elmer.
His remains will be laid to rest in the Northwoods National Cemetery. (Carlson Funeral Home)
