High school baseball: Hodags at Antigo
After handing Red Robins their first loss against the Hodags since 2012, Rhinelander was hoping to start their own streak at Antigo Friday night for the second meeting between the teams.
The game started with the Hodags scoring two in the first inning and one in the second.
Going into the bottom of the fifth, Rhinelander held a 3-2 lead. Red Robin hitting and Hodag errors allowed the home team to score six in the inning to take an 8-3 advantage going into the sixth. Rhinelander scored one more run in the sixth inning, but Antigo would add three more for an 11-4 lead, which turned out to be the final score.
