Winning ‘May Madness’ Lottery ticket sold in Rhinelander
$50,000 top prize; ticket holder unknown
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Lottery’s 2021 May Madness Raffle completely sold out on May 13, 2021, after launching on May 1 with a total of 50,000 lotto tickets. This was the Lottery’s fastest selling spring raffle since 2011. The June 1 drawing resulted in a $50,000 top prize-winning ticket sold in Rhinelander.
Trig’s Shell Mart at 232 S Courtney St. sold the top prize-winning ticket number of 26176.
“We’re so excited for whoever bought this winning ticket,” said Trig’s Shell Mart Manager Simon Martinez. “It’s great to have a big winner in our small town. Looks like we’re the lucky spot to get Lottery tickets!”
In addition to the $50,000 top prize winner, a total of 25 tickets won prizes of $1,000, while 500 others won $100 each. Players can check their numbers at wilottery.com/games/raffles or at any Lottery retailer.
Winners at all prize levels have until November 28, 2021, to claim their prizes by mail or in person at the Lottery’s Madison or Milwaukee offices. The $100 prizes can be claimed at retailers.
