Gabriel “Gabe” Huempfner Sr., age 70 of Rhinelander, died Saturday, April 24, 2021. Gabe was born April 8, 1951, in Rhinelander to John and Dorothy Huempfner.

He is survived by his children, Tricia (Dave) Petrowski, Rich (Randy) Huempfner, Gabriel Huempfner Jr.; daughter-in-law, Ashlee Huempfner; stepdaughters, Michelle and Danielle; four grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Onie), Guy (Myra) and Greg (Roberta) Huempfner; sister, Dawn Huempfner; sister-in-law, Roxie Huempfner; other relatives and friends.

Gabe was preceded in death by his son, Jim; parents; brother, Gale; brother-in-law, Jake Hoffhein; and sister, Susan Worden.

At his request, there will be no visitation or service for Gabe. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
