Ascension Wisconsin, Marshfield Clinic Medical Center, and Oneida County Health Department are collaborating to offer a community walk-in clinic on Saturday, April 24, at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua for anyone 18 and older. The clinic will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and there is no appointment needed.

The vaccine offered at this community clinic will be Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) vaccine. The Johnson and Johnson/Janssen vaccine is a single dose vaccine that is highly effective.

Clinic details include the following:

  • Location: Lakeland Union High School, 9573 WI-70, Minocqua
  • Date and Time: Saturday, April 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • 200 doses of Johnson and Johnson will be available
  • Parking lot attendants will provide clinic process information upon arrival
  • Please plan for 15-30 minutes of observation time after you’ve been vaccinated
  • Masks will be required

Ascension Wisconsin has also announced it is administering COVID-19 vaccinations at its clinics for any eligible person, regardless of health system affiliation.

The website to self-schedule is open to the public for those aged 18 and older. Patients aged 16-17 are asked to schedule directly through an Ascension Medical Group Wisconsin provider. To schedule an appointment, visit https://wi-covid-vaccines.inquicker.com/

Appointments are scheduled in advance. No walk-in vaccinations are available at this time. Please check the scheduling link often as new appointment times are added on a weekly basis.

Ascension Wisconsin encourages everyone who is eligible, to get their COVID-19 vaccine when it’s available to help protect not just themselves, but also their loved ones, friends and neighbors.
