RHS sports head outdoors

Star Journal
The high school sports teams took off last week as many families were out of the area for spring break. On the first day back the weather was great and teams took advantage of the warm temps and sunshine to practice outside.
Boys tennis coaches Matt Nichols and Ben Nichols held the first contact day on the high school courts with 22 players attending. Players worked on conditioning, racket grips and strokes on the first day.
Girls soccer was out on the turf scrimmaging at Mike Webster Stadium. The track team was out on the Webster stadium track with 40-yard run timing and then to the weight room.
Boys baseball made their first appearance on Stafford field at Hodag Park for practice.
