The Hodag boys swimming team was looking toward taking another step toward the third conference championship in a row on a trip to the Lakeland T-Bird pool.

The first event ended the way it has all season, with the Hodags winning the 200 yard medley relay. The B relay placed second. The T-Birds won the 200 and 400 yard free relays with the depth of the Hodag team placing second and third in those relays. Of the eight remaining individual events, the Hodags won five and placed first, second and third in three of the five to win the meet 104-59 and go 8-0 in conference.

The team is swimming Thursday night at DC Everest and Jan. 22 will be in Shawano for the conference meet. Photos by Bob Mainhardt.
