Obituary: Marie Mahner
Marie Arline Mahner, age 99 of Rhinelander, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, in Rhinelander. She was born Jan. 5, 1921, in Hiles to Joseph and Claire (Rasmussen) James.
Marie is survived by her children, Carol (Michael) Umland, Linda O’Brien, Jeffrey (Karol) Mahner, and Stephen (fiancée Brenda) Mahner; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Monte (Dora) James; other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Mahner; son, Joseph Mahner; sisters, Ruth DuFore, Marjorie Newman, Alice Ritchie and Ila Flannery. Family graveside services were held Jan. 8 at Northland Memorial Park Cemetery. (Carlson Funeral Home)
