An Arbor Vitae man was sentenced in Oneida County Court Tuesday for sexually assaulting a patient at a Northwoods long term nursing facility. Former CNA Jacob Schlosser, 19, pleaded guilty in September to one count of second degree sexual assault of a mentally impaired person. As part of his plea agreement, a second count was dismissed.
Schlosser was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by 10 years extended supervision and 15 years on the sex offender registry. He is to have no contact with the victim’s family and cannot work or volunteer in any position in which he is responsible for the care of or is alone with a physically or mentally impaired individual.
According to court records, the victim’s husband, victim’s daughter, and the defendant’s sister made statements before the judge handed down his sentence.
