Star Journal Report

The Rhinelander Food Pantry (RAFP) is hosting another food giveaway Thursday, Dec. 3, beginning at 9 a.m. Anyone, regardless of income can go to the food pantry at 627 Coon Street and pick up a box of food, sponsored by Feeding America.

Vehicles should line up beginning at the pantry driveway on Carr Street, to Coon Street, then right on Newell Street along the side of the cemetery. Do not block driveways or cemetery entrances.

For no-contact pickup, volunteers will place food in each vehicle’s trunk if it is open; if the food needs to be in the vehicle, it will need to be loaded by someone in the vehicle.  Everyone is required to wear a face covering.

In 2020, the RAFP will distribute in excess of one million pounds of food through its regular food pantry and the additional food-for-all distributions.
