In partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHBLC), Ripco Credit Union has issued grants of $5,000 each to Headwaters Inc. of Rhinelander and Feeding Our Rural Kids (FORK) of Eagle River. The grants were issued to through the FHLBC COVID-19 Relief Grant program. The program serves to provide relief to small businesses and non-profit organizations that have been significantly impacted by COVID-19.

“We applaud the FHLBC’s mission to support our small business and non-profit community members who have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 health crisis,” said Ripco Credit Union President/CEO Liza Edinger. “Since Ripco was chartered back in 1932, we have remained dedicated to our members and to our communities. We are proud to partner with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago in support of those who are the most vulnerable during these challenging times.”

Ripco Credit Union is a member of the FHBLC.

“These organizations do a tremendous amount of good in our communities, and are also those least likely to have access to other sources of emergency funds during this time” Edinger added. “We know that these grants will go a long way in helping these fine organizations help many individuals in our communities.”
