Conference season ends winless for Hodag volleyball

The second game in the GNC tournament was at home, with the Hodags looking for their first conference win. The Tomahawk Hatchets came to town with the Hodags being their onluy win of the season.
The girls welcomed back Allie Dornfeld, who missed Tuesday’s game versus Lakeland.
The first game was competitive, with the Hodags scoring the first four points of the game on serves by senior Emily Jorgensen. The Final score of the first match was 20-25 in favor of Tomahawk. The second game was also a loss but the Hodags had a lead late that could not hold and lost lost 22-25.
In game three, the wheels fell off and the girls struggled, losing 8-25, giving the Hatchets the 3-0 win and keeping the Hodags winless in the conference for the third straight year.
Tuesday the girls travel to Ashland for the first round of regional play.
