The Northwoods Alliance of Temporary Shelter (NATH)/Frederick Place is hosting its annual Soup for Shelter benefit, but with a COVID-style twist.

Instead of indoor sit-down events, supporters will have two opportunities to purchase soup made by R & T’s Dinky Diner.

The Salvation Army Canteen Truck will be parked in the parking lot adjacent to Burger King in Rhinelander 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.

Soup will also be available for purchase at the Hodag Farmers Market 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17. Soup is available for a free-will donation.

Also, during the month of October Sweetwater Spirits & Resorts in Eagle River will donate $2 from each bowl of chili served. For more information, visit nathnorthwoods.com or call 715-369-9777.
