Sarah Elizabeth Meier, age 44 of Rhinelander, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at home with her family following an extended illness. She was born Jan. 5, 1975 in Columbus, Ga., to Richard and Mary Meier.

Sarah is survived by her parents; sister, Jennifer (Randy) Schroeder; brother, Scott (Tina) Meier; nieces, nephews; her faithful companion, Tess; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Ann Meier and Ken and Margaret Podvin; twin sister, Monica; cousins, Michael Podvin, Patrick Podvin and Cecil Parvin.

Visitation will take place 4-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 3 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, followed by a procession to the parish cemetery. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
