Sophomore Shane Petrick shoots and scores at the 26:50 mark of the first half.

The first high risk sports contest for Rhinelander High School took place Tuesday evening. The Hodag soccer team hosted the Antigo Red Robins at Mike Webster Stadium. Each player was given four tickets to distribute to family and friends.

It was also parents night as the athletes and parents were introduced at half time.

The Hodags controlled the game from the outset as the majority of the game took place on the Red Robin side of the field. The Hodags opened the scoring with 31:46 remaining in the first half and would score two more times in the first and add one in the second half while holding the Robins to one shot on goal and no goals for a 4-0 win.
