While three fall sports were just beginning, girls tennis hosted another meet, this time taking on Ashland.

At No. 1 doubles, senior Kathryn Borski and sophomore Taylor Riopel had the task of taking on an Ashland doubles team that went to state last year. They kept it close; the second set was lost by a 5-7 score, but gave the girls some stiff competition that may be beneficial down the road.

The other loss of the day came at No. 2 doubles for Alexis Engelking and Kylee Younker as the remainder of the matches went to the Hodags for a final tally of 5-2 for duals win.
