Obituary: Amanda Murray
Amanda L. Murray, age 34 of Rhinelander, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, at the Marshfield Medical Center. Amanda was born Nov. 15, 1985, in Tomahawk to Lance Reinke, Sr. and Audrey Tobias.
Amanda grew up in Tomahawk before moving to Rhinelander where she attended high school. After high school, she was a manager at the Downtown Motel and later worked at the Kemp Street BP. As her family began to grow, Amanda’s passion and focus was giving everything for her children. She consistently put her children’s needs and dreams in front of her own. She was a talented cook who enjoyed preparing big meals and sharing with neighbors. Amanda was a kind-hearted and good-listening friend and her genuine love for people impacted everyone she met.
Survivors include her children, Jordan, Joshua, Jarred, Jackson, Jazzilynn, Jace, and her newborn, Justice; her father, Lance Reinke, Sr., of Lac du Flambeau; her mother, Audrey Lapuma and her stepfather, Ray Lapuma, both of Rhinelander; her significant other, Vincent Schult of Rhinelander; three brothers, Lance Reinke, Jr., Dustin Lapuma and Joseph Lapuma, all of Rhinelander; and one Sister, Francine Reinke, of Medford.
Amanda is further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph, and her cousin, Michael Hoople.
A visitation for Amanda Murray will be held on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2020, at Generations Funeral Home in Tomahawk, from 10 a.m. until noon, adhering to social distancing guidelines. Pastor Ed Foster will officiate. A private family service will be held with burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the family.
