The Kiwanis Club of Rhinelander donated $10,000 toward completion of the new docks at Camp Birchrock. The docks are located on Birchrock, Chickadee and Velvet/Flannery lakes within the 200-acre Camp Birchrock property west of Rhinelander. In addition to Kiwanis, Hugh Jones of the Rhinelander Community Foundation and Tommy Docks donated to the project.

Pictured left to right are Kiwanis president Terry Berndt, Kiwanis past president Larry Wiesneske, Camp Birchrock president Steve Sauer, camp secretary Erica Sauer, and camp director Nicole Reinke. Kiwanis donates about $25,000 annually to projects and programs that benefit Rhinelander area children and their families. SUBMITTED PHOTO
