Obituary: John J. Karnes
John J. Karnes, age 82 of Three Lakes, died Friday, July 3, 2020. He was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Kenosha to Ralph and Margaret (McQuestion) Karnes. After high school John served in the Army.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret “Peggy” Bain; many nieces and nephews; stepson, Michael Freeman; great and great-great nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Fanning and brother, Ralph Karnes. Graveside services and interment were held July 10 at the Three Lakes Cemetery. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. (Carlson Funeral Home)
