Rhinelander’s Detert finishes college hockey career
Katie Detert, a 2016 graduate of Rhinelander High School, recently finished her career as a forward for the Division 1 St. Cloud State University women’s hockey team.
Detert played in 27 games for the Huskies her senior season recording 15 shots on goal and eight blocked shots. Over her four year career as a Husky, Detert appeared in 80 games. This season,she was honored as a WCHA Scholar-Athlete and named to the WCHA All-Academic Team for the third time in her career.
She is a daughter of Terri and Dave Detert of Rhinelander.
St. Cloud State is a member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association and the NCAA.
