The coronavirus outbreak is challenging for everyone during this time of isolation and social distancing. This is especially true for people whose loved ones are in  hospitals and other healthcare facilities that have eliminated all in-person visitation.

Marlene Rudolph of Rhinelander, her daughter and grandchildren got creative when it came to seeing Marlene’s mother, Betty Angell.

The group made signs and communicated through Betty’s window.

“This has really helped my family and my mom get through this,” Marlene  said. “I saw my mom everyday and the last day I was able to to in by her was last Sunday night.”

For more information on the coronavirus, visit the Centers for Disease Control website.
