Monday, March 9

Personal Essentials Pantry (PEP): Second Monday, monthly, 3:30-5:30 p.m., First United Methodist Church, Rhinelander. Personal items for people in need. New clients should bring documentation of food pantry, WIC, BadgerCare or Food Share program participation.
Aspirus Community Fitness Center: 6-7:45 a.m. and 3:30-6 p.m. Monday through Friday at Rhinelander High School. FREE and open to students and the public.
Bingo: 7-9 p.m. Mondays at the St. Germain Community Center. Cash prizes awarded and food is available for purchase. For more information visit www.st-germain.com or call 715-477-2205.
Mahjong: 1-4 p.m., Boulder Junction Public Library every Monday. Mahjong is a Chinese game played with tiles by four people around a table. Beginners welcome. Bring a set if you have one. For more information, 715-385-2050.
Baby Storytime: 10:15 a.m. Mondays, Rhinelander District Library. Twenty-minute program designed for ages six months to two years; simple stories, fingerplays and music. Social/playtime follows. 715-365-1070 ext. 1073.

Tuesday, March 10

Uke Club: 6:30 p.m., Tuesdays, YMCA of the Northwoods. Beginners welcome; do not have to be a Y member. 715-362-9622.
Sip of Culture: 5-8:30 p.m., ArtStart Rhinelander. Learn about the Hindu festival of color, “Holi,” and create a collage with images and patterns from India. Supplies provided, but can bring your own. $45 tickets at artstartrhinelander.org.
Lions Club Bingo: 4:30 p.m., doors open; early bird 6:15 p.m., regular bingo 7 p.m. Rhinelander VFW. Every Tuesday. Food and drinks available. 715-628-0610.
Story Hour: 9:30-10:30 a.m., Demmer Memorial Library, Three Lakes. Books, songs and crafts for preschool age children and caregivers. Free to attend. 715-546-3391 or demmer@demmerlibrary.org.
Re-Tale Shop: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 25 Rives Street, next to the Rhinelander District Library. Used books and more. Open Tuesdays and the first Saturday. Run by the Friends of the Rhinelander District Library.
Women in STEM: 6 p.m., Demmer Library in Three Lakes. Presentation by software engineer Clara Merriman, senior Splunk Engineer on the Splunk@Splunk team. A hands-on activity will follow. Families and especially girls ages 10-18 are invited. Free. Registration encouraged but not required; 715-546-3391 or demmerlibrary.org.
Sugar Camp Community Blood Drive: 3-7 p.m., Sugar Camp Town Hall. In partnership with Community Blood Center. Schedule appointment with March Schoeneck, 715-272-1142.
