PHOTO GALLERY: Boys finish regular season with win over Hatchets
The boys teams played the second half of the Tomahawk vs. Rhinelander night. At the first meeting in Tomahawk the hatchets kept the game close until late when the Hodags opened up a larger lead and won 52-36. The Hodags needed to win to at least finish with a .500 conference record and have a little leverage for the tournament meeting that took place on Sunday.
The Hodags took care of what they needed to do leading the Hatchets at halftime 35-20 and finished the game putting up 84 points to Tomahawks 41.
Each of the seniors scored in the game led by Drake Martin with 15; Peyton Erikson scored 13. The Hodags earned the number 7 position and will play Ashland on Tues day, March 3 at home.
