The Heck Community Pool was the site of the Great Northern Conference swim meet this year and the Hodags took full advantage of the home pool, winning conference with 417 points followed by Tomahawk with 285 and Lakeland with 243 points.

Thaddeus Heck won the 100 yard breast stroke and in the process set a new conference record by .1 second.

The Hodags had at least two swimmers on the podium in each individual event except the 100 yard breaststroke; in the relay, they had two teams on the podium in each event.

Additionally, a Rhinelander swimmer earned at least Honorable Mention All-Conference in each of the 11 events.

David King swims the butterfly leg of the 200 medley relay. The Hodags placed first in the event with King, Joseph Heck, Thaddeus Heck and Devon Gaber – a great way to start the meet as the B relay placed fourth and the C relay would have placed eighth but only two relays can be scored.
