If you are a weekly reader of the Star Journal, thank you; we appreciate you taking the time to read the news, sports and shopping and advertising information we work diligently to provide. If this week is the first time you have received this newspaper, welcome.

The Star Journal is delivered via the U.S. Mail, a change which began last month and affords the opportunity to increase the number of households that receive the paper.

“We are pleased to be expanding the footprint of the Northwoods Star Journal,” said General Manager Tim Schrieber. “The reach we now have makes us the largest circulated newspaper in the Northwoods and will help all our advertisers reach more and new customers of their own. At the same time, our readers will be kept up to date on the news and happenings of the area.”

More than 32,000 Star Journals are delivered weekly. The expanded area includes parts of Eagle River, Three Lakes and Minocqua, as well as many households in the Rhinelander zip code.
