Marie Yike, age 89 of Rhinelander, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born Sept. 26, 1930, in Rhinelander to Martin and Dorothy (Piasecki) Pollack.

Marie is survived by her children, Sandra (Dennis) Strong of Sugar Camp and Constance Shevy of Rib Mountain; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles (Kathy) Pollack of Crystal Falls, Mich.; two sisters, Nancy Keso of Sugar Camp and Patricia (Jim) Schober of Sugar Camp; sister-in-law, Patricia Pollack of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley H. “Bob” Yike; three brothers, William Pollack, Ronald Pollack and Ted (Rita) Pollack; and one sister, Suzanne (Eugene) Jenkins.

The visitation for Marie will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m., Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home followed by the 11:30 a.m. funeral service with Fr. Maridas VallaBhaneni officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Kunegunda of Poland Catholic Cemetery, Sugar Camp. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
