Reader urges support for Zunker
I am urging everyone in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District to support Tricia Zunker for Congress. Tricia Zunker is a Democrat running in a special election to fill the vacancy left by Sean Duffy, who resigned.
Tricia Zunker served as an Associate Justice for The Ho-Chunk Supreme Court, and is President of The Wausau School board. She teaches remotely as professor for three institutions from her office working with non-traditional students.
I had the pleasure of meeting Tricia Zunker and listening to her speak; my impression of her was that she is a kind, friendly person who cares about the people of the 7th District, and the world in which they live. Tricia Zunker believes in affordable health care options for everyone. Tricia Zunker believes that these options should also include mental health, and would like to see the stigma surrounding that erased. Tricia Zunker believes that education should be affordable and kids should not have to go hungry. Tricia Zunker supports the 2nd Amendment, but believes the guns should not be in the hands of people who would use them to hurt others. Tricia Zunker supports equitable treatment for all whether it be women, racial minorities, LGBTQ, the disabled, or people of other backgrounds. Tricia Zunker supports unions, wants to raise the minimum wage, and invest in infrastructure. Tricia Zunker will not accept money from any PACs or special interest groups.
On Feb. 18 please vote for Tricia Zunker.
