Swimmers win Hodag Relays; one record smashed

The Hodag swim team poses with their first place trophy and medals after winning the Hodag Relays.
One record was broken at the annual Hodag Relays on Saturday. The 29-year mark of 3:22.64 set by Wisconsin Rapids in the 3×100 yard breast stroke relay was broken by the threesome of freshman Jack Antonuk, senior Thaddeus Heck and junior Joseph Heck. The winning time was 3:19.41 breaking the record by more than 3 seconds.
The team placed first in five of the 10 events and no worse than fourth in any event to win the Relays with 110 points. Tomahawk placed second with 90 points. Five teams participated in the Relays. Photos by Bob Mainhardt.
