The Manitowish Waters Chamber of Commerce will once again offer its activity-filled count down to the New Year with Marvel in Manitowish Waters, which will run from Dec. 25, through Jan. 1, 2020.
This week-long event will offer a variety of low or no cost family-oriented activities, both indoors and out, that will be held regardless of what the weather chooses to do. Past years’ activities have included story hour, crafts, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, dances, snowshoeing, ice skating, nature-based activities and New Year’s Eve celebrations complete with fireworks. Activity locations will vary throughout the town based on participating organizations.

All the fixings will be provided. To enter your favorite chili creation and get a chance to win the coveted “Wooden Spoon” award, call the North Lakeland Discovery Center at 715-543-2085.
