The Northwoods Ukers: Every Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Olson Memorial Library, Eagle River. All welcome to learn, jam and have fun.
The Waters Holiday Market: 9 a.m.-6 p.m., the Waters of Minocqua. Crafts, ornaments, baked goods, folk art. Santa visits 1-3 p.m. minocqua.org.

Newsies-the Musical: 7 p.m., John and Dori Brown Performing Arts Center at Rhinelander High School. Presented by School District of Rhinelander Drama Department. Some 75 students make up the cast, crew and band for this musical event, set in turn-of-the-century New York City. Tickets are $5 at the door.
Euchre: 9-11:30 a.m. Fridays, ADRC Center in Rhinelander. Euchre is a plain-trick game for four players in fixed partnerships. Five cards are dealt to each player and the object is to win at least three of the five tricks, with a bonus for winning all five. 715-369-6304.
