Friday evening Medford hosted the conference swim meet at the UW Stevens Point swimming pool. The Hodags were leading the conference by four points going into the meet owning a 7-0 conference record; the closest teams were Medford and Lakeland. The Hodags only had to place second to share the conference title but did not entertain any thought of only placing second or below on the night.

The first event was the 200 yard medley relay and from the start the Hodags showed they were in it to win it as they not only won the event but broke the conference record by over 3 seconds. Two other records would fall at the hands of the Hodags as Malia Francis broke a pair of individual event records. Francis broke the records in the 200-yard IM and the 100-yard backstroke.

The evening was capped off by the Hodags winning conference for the first time since 2002.

Lisa Kennedy placed second in the 200 IM. 11-06-19 Sports Swimming_ (12)W Makenna Winnicki swam the butterfly and placed first. 11-06-19 Sports Swimming_ (2)W 11-06-19 Sports Swimming_ (10)W Placing second in the 100-yard breast stroke was Noelle St. Pierre. 11-06-19 Sports Swimming_ (6)W Malia Francis swam the breast stroke leg of the 200-yard Medley Relay. 11-06-19 Sports Swimming_ (9)W The team poses with the first place trophy.
