Robert “Bob” J. Rossi, age 88 of the Town of Pelican, died Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Tomahawk Health Services in Tomahawk under the care of Ascension at Home Hospice. Bob was born on December 27, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., to Louis and Gladys (Twite) Rossi.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army, Airborne Division, from 1951 until 1954.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude (Wood) Rossi; children,  Matthew (Paula) Rossi of Skagway, Alaska, and Janice (Todd) Lorino of South Milwaukee; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Gleissner of Newburg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen Rossi; and brother-in-law, Alois Gleissner.

The visitation for Bob will be held 1 p.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, October 26, at the Hildebrand Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. Immediately following the Memorial Service, Military Honors will be conducted. Light a candle, sign the guestbook, leave a photo or an online condolence at www.hildebrandrussfh.com
