Ronald E. Wales, age 84 of Rhinelander, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at home. Ron was born Jan. 9, 1935, in Rhinelander to Alfred and Alice (Perry) Wales.

He is survived by his children, Edwin (Sharon) Wales of Rhinelander, Rhonda (Byron) Warnes of Silverthorne, Colo., Richard (Vicki) Wales of Marquette, Mich., Mary (Curtis) LeSage of Ishpeming, Mich., and Elizabeth (Bradley) of Rhinelander; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his wife, Arlene A. Wales; and a daughter, Ann Marie Wales. Visitation for Ron will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home. A prayer service will take place at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ron Bosi officiating. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
