Tuesday, September 3
Cheree L. Novosel, Minocqua, charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cash bond set at $1,500. AIA September 23.
Jason J. Bauknecht, Three Lakes, charged with OWI (4th). Cash bond set at $3,000. AIA October 14.
David J. Mccone, Antigo, charged with battery or threat to law enforcement officer, resisting an officer, throwing or discharging bodily fluid at public safety worker and disorderly conduct (domestic abuse). Cash bond set at $2,000. AIA September 23.
James H. Branam, Rhinelander, charged with two counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor, two counts of bail jumping-felony and two counts of fraud on gas station. Cash bond set at $750. Defendant waived preliminary hearing. PTC November 5.
Kurt R. Smeaton, Woodruff, charged with operating while revoked and four counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor. Cash bond set at $300. AIA September 17.
Brian T. Liebscher, Three Lakes, charged with resisting an officer. Signature bond set for $500. AIA October 14.
Matthew R. Rifenburgh, Rhinelander, DPA set for charges of one count of operating while revoked-misdemeanor and one count of ignition interlock device tampering-misdemeanor. Review hearing December 9. Charges of two counts of operating while revoked-misdemeanor, one count of ignition interlock device tampering-misdemeanor and bail jumping-misdemeanor are dismissed.
Robert L. Johnson Jr., Three Lakes, pleads guilty/no contest to disorderly conduct (domestic abuse)-misdemeanor. Fined $579. Also pleads guilty/no contest to one count of bail jumping-misdemeanor. Sentenced to local jail 10 days (1 day credit). Charges of battery (domestic abuse)-misdemeanor, possession of THC-misdemeanor, retail theft (<=$500)-misdemeanor and one count of bail jumping-misdemeanor were dismissed.
Robert D. Wolfe, Minocqua, pleads guilty/no contest for one count of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse)-misdemeanor and bail jumping-misdemeanor. Sentenced to WHS/POP 2 years (concurrent) and fined $686. Charges of one count of disorderly conduct (domestic abuse)-misdemeanor, three counts of bail jumping-misdemeanor and battery-misdemeanor were dismissed but read in. DPA for battery (domestic abuse)-misdemeanor (set October 30, 2018) was revoked. Sentenced to WHS/POP 2 years (concurrent) and fined $443.
Daniel J. Mathea, Hazelhurst, pleads guilty/no contest to possession of amphetamine-misdemeanor). Sentenced to WHS/POP 1 year and fined $443. Also pleads no contest to possession of narcotic drugs-felony. DPA. Review hearing August 24, 2020.
Tyler J. Schewe, Wausau, pleads guilty/no contest to OWI (2nd)-misdemeanor. Sentenced to jail 35 days (2 days credit), IID 14 months, DOT license revocation 14 months, WHS/POP 18 months and fined $1,785.75. Charge of resisting an officer-misdemeanor was dismissed but read in. Charges of bail jumping-misdemeanor, operating while revoked-misdemeanor and operating with PAC (2nd)-misdemeanor were dismissed.
Toni M. Linville, Janesville, pleads guilty/no contest to operating with a restricted controlled substance (3rd)-misdemeanor. Sentenced to jail 14 days (2 days credit), IID 1 year, DOT license revocation 2 years, WHS/POP 1 year and fined $1,784.75. Charges of possession of THC-misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia-misdemeanor and OWI (3rd)-misdemeanor were dismissed.
Iozsef D. Belongea, Rhinelander, pleads guilty/no contest to theft. Fined $123.50. Charge of forgery-felony was dismissed.
Travis C. Marvin, Rhinelander, pleads guilty/no contest to exposing a child to harmful material-felony. Sentenced to WHS/POP 3 years, sex offender registry and fined $518. Also pleads no contest to 2nd degree sexual assault of a child-felony. DEJ. Review hearing August 24, 2020.
Nahum Ahumada-Diaz, no address, pleads guilty/no contest to resisting an officer. Court remits costs. Charge of bail jumping-misdemeanor was dismissed.

Wednesday, September 4
John F. Johnson, Rhinelander, charged with criminal damage to property, battery (domestic abuse-threat) and disorderly conduct. Cash bond set for $150. AIA October 14.

Thursday, September 5
Stavros G. Iliopoulos, Tomahawk, is found guilty by jury for child enticement-felony, false imprisonment-felony and 1st degree child sex assault-felony. Court date for sentencing TBD.

Friday, September 6
Anthony C. Zoncki, Rhinelander, sentenced to state prison 5 years, extended supervision 5 years, sex offender registry and fined $1,606.68 for charges of using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime-felony (guilty by Jury on July 10).
Cory J. Volkening, Stevens Point, WHS/POP for two counts of resisting an officer-misdemeanor (set on February 15, 2017) was revoked. Sentenced to local jail 207 days-concurrent (207 days credit) and restitution of $1,479.50.
Teri L. Melugin, Minocqua, WHS/POP for theft-movable property (<=$2500)-misdemeanor (set on January 15, 2019) was revoked. Sentenced to local jail 106 days-time served.
Meng Lor, Wausau, pleads guilty/no contest to possession with intent-amphetamine <=3 g (PTAC)-felony. Sentenced to WHS/POP 4 years and fined $518. Charges of possession of THC (PTAC)-misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia (PATC)-misdemeanor were dismissed.

Monday, September 9
Kenneth R. Curtis, Lake Tomahawk, charged with bail jumping-misdemeanor and bail jumping-felony. Cash bond set at $832. Preliminary hearing October 7.
Matthew E. Smith, Rhinelander, charged with hit and run, false imprisonment and disorderly conduct. Signature bond set for $3,500. AIA October 14.
Taylor J. Kincaid, Spooner, charged with possession of THC and possession of cocaine. Signature bond set for $1,000. AIA October 21.
Renee M. Laport, Trego, charged with possession of THC and possession of cocaine. Signature bond set for $1,000. AIA October 21.
Sunny G. Oelrich, Rhinelander, charged with possession of illegally obtained prescription. Signature bond set for $500. PTC October 22.
Marie A. Sweet, Eagle River, charged with theft of movable property (<=$2500). Signature bond set for $1,000. AIA October 21.
Greg G. Nold, Dalbo (Minnesota), charged with prostitution. Cash bond set at $500. AIA October 21.
Richard R. Burnett, Woodruff, charged with OWI (2nd). Signature bond set for $2,500. AIA October 14.
Lorissa A. Ensign, Rhinelander, charged with operating while revoked. Signature bond set for $1,000. AIA October 14.
Brian J. Slizewski, Three Lakes, pleads no contest to disorderly conduct-misdemeanor. DEJ 6 months. Review hearing February 17, 2020.
