High School Football: Rhinelander starts season 3-0

The Hodags are off to their best start in years after beating Lakeland Union 25-6 Friday night at home. Quarterback Quinn Lamers was credited with 80 yards in passing. Drake Martin, who played on both sides of the ball, ran 29 times for 234 yards and three touchdowns. Peyton Erickson rushed for 35 yards and one touchdown.
For the defense, Martin had eight tackles; Payton Johnson recorded four and a half tackles and an interception in Rhinelander’s effort. Walker Hartman had five tackles and one sack. Flintography photos.
