During this week’s Oneida County Board of Supervisors meeting, the Buildings and Grounds department report stated that more than a dozen diseased trees, mostly ash trees affected by the Emerald Ash Borer, are being removed. Some new trees have already been added. However, as the department’s budget for these type of expenses has been exhausted for the year, it will be next spring before any additional trees will be planted.
