Obituary: Cookie Poskie
Marietta “Cookie” Poskie, age 94, died Sunday, July 28, 2019, at her daughter’s home in Rosholt. She was born May 7, 1925, in Rhinelander to Bruce and Laura (Kerber) Cook.
Cookie is survived by her daughter, Laura (Bob) Dobbe of Rosholt; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sharon (Bruce) Cook of Firestone, Colo.; four stepchildren, Jim (Mary) Mlady of Florida, Marilyn (Randy) Chec of Delafield, Linda Mlady of Mequon, and Rick (Carry) Mlady of Rhinelander; sister-in-law, Rita Chariton of Rhinelander; friends and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce; husband, George; son, Robert; and husband, Jim.
