AAUW annual used book sale raises scholarship money

The AAUW book sale runs through July 27 and is held at Rhinelander High School.

The Northwoods branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is hold a book sale to raise money that will help fund women returning to college.

The book sale is Thursday through Saturday, July 25-27 in the Rhinelander High School commons. There are thousands of titles to choose from which are organized by genre. The sale runs 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.

On Friday at the high school library, four area women authors will be reading from their books.

The Northwoods branch of AAUW has existed for 60 years; there are 27 branches of the organization in Wisconsin.
