Manito Art League presents scholarship awards to area students

The Manito Art League presented $9000 in scholarship money during last week’s art show in Manitowish Waters. The scholarships are awarded to local students and adults pursuing art-related college degrees or wishing to attend an art course. Shown from left: Jeannine Achauer (Minocqua), Lynda Pietzrak (Sugar Camp), Jacqueline Wick (Tomahawk), Tess Richard (Park Falls), Jenna Sima (Sayner), Michael Bastman-receiving for Jamee Bastman who is currently studying abroad (Ironwood, MI), Langdon Langhoff (Eagel River), Ben Tilley (Eagel River) and Lauren Thompson (Hazelhurst). Also awarded but not present were Jessica Egan (Woodruff), Faith Bartelt (Rhinelander), Adam Bloom (Rhinelander), Aubrey Edinger (Kennan), Hadley Miles (Eagle River) and Austine Avery (Eagle River).
