Edna Mae (Barnowsky) Fritz, age 89, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Rhinelander. She was born April 3, 1930, to Julius and Edna (Johnson) Barnowsky. Edna is survived by her niece, Jan Bessa of Elcho; nephews, Joel (Cheryl) Bessa of Elcho, and Baird (Rose) Cook of Rhinelander.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Fritz; five sisters and three brothers.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, , at the Carlson Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Krahn officiating. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Forest Home Cemetery.
