Saturday, June 29

Hodag Farmers Market: 8 a.m.-1 p.m. through Oct. 15 at Pioneer Park. Buy local in-season food and make connections with the people who grow it. Meats, produce, cheese, bread and much more. Visit HodagFarmersMarket.com for more information.
Mecikalski Stovewood Museum: Open weekends 1-4 p.m. through Labor Day, free admission. Built in 1899, the museum on the National Registry of Historical Places as an example of the stovewood building method. Located in Jennings, five miles east of Pelican Lake on Hwy B. Follow on Facebook.
Personal Essentials Pantry (PEP): Last Saturday, monthly, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. First United Methodist Church, 724 Arbutus St., Rhinelander. Personal items for people in need. New clients should bring documentation of food pantry, WIC, BadgerCare or Food Share program participation.
Car Wash: 1-4 p.m., Three Lakes High School. The eighth grade class from Three Lakes will be washing and drying cars for a donation; also lemonade sale. Proceeds benefit the students’ 2020 trip to Washington D.C.
Northwoods Pride Festival: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Nicolet College Lakeside Center. Festivities for the LGBTQ community, including live musicians, community resource fair, silent auction, food and beverages for sale. Free and open to all. www.northwoodspride.com.

Sunday, June 30

Open Swim: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Heck Family Community Pool at Rhinelander High School. Free admission, sign-in required. Lap swim, family time, water basketball and more; lifeguard on duty and locker rooms are open. For more information, call 715-365-9745 or visit the school district’s website.

The Table, a Free Community Meal: 5:30 p.m., St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 39 S. Pelham St. This month’s host is Nativity Social Concerns. The meal is served to anyone and everyone. There are no restrictions or requirements. For information, call St. Augustine’s at 715-420-0066.
Hodag Water Shows: 7 p.m. Wednesdays and Sundays at Hodag Park. Free attendance, donations appreciated. Concessions available. Visit www.hodagwatershows.com.

Monday, July 1

Baby Storytime: 10:15 a.m. Mondays, Rhinelander District Library. Twenty-minute program designed for ages six months to two years; simple stories, fingerplays and music. Social/playtime follows. 715-365-1070 ext. 1073.

Rhinelander Historical Society: 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 S. Pelham St. Guided tours and information about Rhinelander’s past. Recruiting volunteers; 715-369-5004.
Healing Hearts with Creativity: 12-2 p.m., first Tuesday of every month at Old School Arts & Learning Center, 903 Boyce Drive. Free drop-in group allows participants to process difficult emotions through creative means with art facilitators and bereavement coordinators. 800-643-4663.

Summer Concerts in the Park: 7 p.m., Cy Williams Park in Three Lakes. This week, Act III. Bring a chair or blanket and a picnic and enjoy a relaxing evening of good music. Trading Card Games: 3:30-5 p.m., Rhinelander District Library. Open play for teens to play Pokemon, Magic and Yu-gi-oh! and others, the first Wednesday and third Monday of each month. New and seasoned gamers, ages 11-18, welcome. Bring your own deck; no trading or selling allowed. Pizza and drinks provided. 715-365-1070.
Lakeland Area Mountain Biking: Wednesday night rides in the Lakeland area. Visit the LAMBO Riders Facebook Page for times and locations weekly.
Coffee & Company: Free community breakfast first and third Wednesdays, 8-9:30 a.m. at the VFW Hall in Rhinelander. Call 715-367-4790 or 715-282-5465 for more information.
Northwoods Wildlife Center Daily Tours: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., 8683 S. Blumenstein Rd., Minocqua. Tours showcase a variety of Wisconsin native raptor and scavenger species.
