School board to hear presentations from indoor, outdoor athletic facility vendors

A special meeting of the School District of Rhinelander Board of Education Monday night will give members and the public more information about indoor and outdoor facility options.

The meeting will take place at 5 p.m. at the Superior Diesel Advanced Learning Center (tiered classroom) at Rhinelander High School. The agenda includes, beginning at 5:30 p.m., “report, discussion, and/or action topics,” including half-hour presentations by three vendors, Yeadon Fabric Domes, LLC, Miron Construction Co., Inc. and Greenfire Management Services, Inc.

According to the agenda, the board will consider vendor presentations and options for an “indoor practice facility and consideration of obtaining professional services for the purpose of receiving design, bids and construction management for an indoor facility and outdoor athletic facilities (i.e. two softball fields, practice fields, baseball field).”
