Helen Kolberg, age 89, of Crescent, died Monday, June 10, 2019, in Rhinelander. She was born on July 4, 1930, in Ely, Minnesota, to Jacob and Anna Maki. She is survived by her children, Sherry (Danny) Poler of La Crosse, Rhonda (Richard) Kolberg-Cargin of Sturgeon Bay, Tina (Mike) Lee of Rhinelander, and Lori (Alvin) Lunzman of Pringle, South Dakota; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Betty Kolberg; many nieces, nephews, and special friend Pat Ekman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton (Spike) Kolberg; parents, Anna and Jacob; sisters, Emily, Esther, Elsie and Violet (Theo); brothers, William, Theodore, Robert and Einard; sisters-in-law, Mary Goulee and Clarice Kolberg; brothers-in-law, Jon Kolberg, Don Kolberg and James Goulee. A celebration of life will be held June 29, 2019, at the Woodpecker Bar and Grill, 6776 Co Rd K, Rhinelander, from 12-3 p.m. (Carlson Funeral Home)
