Mary Ann (O’Malley) O’Melia, age 94 of Rhinelander, died Tuesday, June 4, surrounded by family members.

Ann was born May 9, 1925 to Mike and Ida Mary O’Malley. She is survived by her children, John (Kathy) O’Melia, Kerry (Gary) Tiesling, Sharon (John) Sykes, Maureen O’Melia, and Hon. Patrick (Karalyn) O’Melia; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Salley Kremer, Jeanne Hertzog and Sr. Sarah Ann (Nancy).

She was preceded in death by her husband; John; brother, Col. Patrick O’Malley; and sistersm Ida Mary Pearce and Sylvia Eichner. In lieu of flowers, Ann would be honored to have donations made to the Rhinelander District Library or Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School.

The visitation for Ann will take place Wednesday, June 12, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Mass with Fr. Mike Tupa and Deacon Ron Bosi officiating. (Hildebrand Funeral Home)
