Friday, April 12

TGI ArtFriday: 4-6 p.m., “Portrait of our Village,” ArtStart, Rhinelander. Art classes for kids. Using primitive Haitian artwork as inspiration, children will paint or draw the people, animals and surroundings that make up their “village.” $15 per class; sliding scale pricing available. Midwest Crane Count and Training: 10-11:30 a.m., North Lakeland Discovery Center. Beginner and experienced birders welcome to count cranes across Vilas County. Alzheimer’s Caregivers’ Support Group: 1-2:30 third Thursday of the month at the Oneida County Senior Center. Sponsored by Greater Wisc. chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
